Inspired by the work of Italian fabulist author Italo Calvino, “The Late Wedding” is a sparkling, metatheatrical tour through fictional marriage customs, morphing into a kaleidoscopic, fast-paced ride through love, loss, longing, and the playwright’s grocery list.
