The Wallowa mountain range was the flashpoint of the last great battle between the U.S. government and the Indian nation. It is there, in one of the densest and most dangerous forests in the Americas, that a 76-year old woman went missing in 2007. Presumed dead by search and rescue, her story is a haunting and unbelievable example of the power of spirit. Based on true events
